Will Richardson

Senior Partner of PwC’s Leeds Office

Will joined PwC’s Audit practice in London in 1994 where he specialised in the financial services sector. After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1996 he moved North in 1997 where he joined the Transaction Services team undertaking buy and sell side due diligence, IPOs, valuations and advising on the financial aspects of sale and purchase agreements.

He then transferred across to the Forensics team in 1999 where he now leads the Forensics practice across the North of England. From 2013 to 2016 he was PwC’s Regional Deals Leader for Yorkshire & the North East, leading the Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Business Recovery and Forensic teams across the Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield and Hull offices. Will became PwC’s Senior Partner in Leeds in 2017.

Will is passionate about social mobility, skills development and the creation of opportunities. He sits on the Partnership Board overseeing the Government’s Opportunity Area social mobility initiative in Bradford, which brings together partners to help give Bradford’s young people the opportunities they deserve.
